Gary Reed's Testimonals

What was your previous occupation prior to becoming a part of the Buffett Senior Healthcare® (BSH) sales staff?

II worked for 10 years selling the services of Physical therapists to physicians. Before that, I was a pharmaceutical sales rep and regional account manager.

Why did you choose the Exclusive Territory Preset Appointment Division (ETPAD) with Buffett Senior Healthcare® as your career?

I wanted something where I determined my income, not someone else. I spent many years working at a salaried job, where income was determined by set rules. The way the structure was put in place, there was always a ceiling on what you could accomplish, and every year the carrot was moved further away. Sales quotas & commissions were pretty much determined by management. Even if you were a top performer, there was a limit. wanted something where I determined my income, not someone else. How many years of sales experience did you have prior to working for BSH?

I have had approximately 36 years of formal sales training with various pharmaceutical and medical supply & services organizations. However, I had no intangible sales experience, which means I had no prior sales experience in regards to selling what we sell at Buffett.

What was the most difficult part of your learning curve with BSH in the ETPAD?

The first few months learning Medicare & how to explain the changes in a straightforward way to people who might be affected. Then figuring out exactly which carrier would be best fitted to their needs.

Describe your career with Buffett?

It’s been a rush; nonstop, learning, adjusting, growing. It’s not for the faint of heart.

How has your lift changed after receiving the 15k bonus?

It was a nice boost at a time I needed it. Also made me realize that what they are telling you is not just hype. They delivered on their promise.

Give a few pieces of advice to people considering applying for a position with BSH.

Don’t do it. Unless you are a Type A over the top kind of person, you will not make it.
